greenhouseA cooling system is a device or method used to control and reduce the ambient temperature. In agriculture and greenhouse cultivation, cooling systems are often used to maintain a suitable temperature in the greenhouse and provide a good growing environment.
The system has the advantages of simple equipment, low cost, low power consumption, large cooling capacity, and reliable operation. It is also a heat prevention and cooling facility commonly used in large-scale agricultural production buildings in various countries around the world. The system equipment cost is only one-seventh of the air-conditioning equipment, and the operating cost is only one-tenth of the air-conditioning. The system can be widely used in agricultural buildings such as greenhouses, livestock and poultry houses, and high-temperature workshops, theaters, and other buildings of hundreds to thousands of square meters for heat prevention and cooling.
The cooling system uses the principle of converting sensible heat in the air into latent heat when water evaporates to cool down. When unsaturated air and free water surface come into contact, the water vapor partial pressure of the free water surface is higher than that of the unsaturated air, so the liquid surface water vapor evaporates. When water evaporates into water vapor, it absorbs a large amount of sensible heat, which causes the air temperature to drop. The whole process is a heat exchange process in which the sensible heat in the air is converted into the latent heat of water vapor.
The following are several common agricultural cooling systems:
1. Misting cooling system: The mist cooling system cools the air temperature by spraying fine water mist particles. When the water mist evaporates, it absorbs heat from the surrounding air, thereby reducing the ambient temperature. This system usually uses a high-pressure water pump and atomizing nozzle, and the amount of atomized water and the cooling effect can be controlled as needed.
2. Fan cooling system: The fan cooling system uses a fan or fan to introduce fresh air from the outside into the greenhouse to replace the hot air. By circulating the air, the temperature in the greenhouse is reduced. This system is usually used in conjunction with a sunshade net to reduce the heat from direct sunlight.
3. Cooling system: The cooling system (air conditioning) is a more advanced and comprehensive cooling solution. It uses components such as condensers, evaporators, compressors, etc. to cool the air in the greenhouse through the circulation of refrigerants. The cooling system provides more precise and adjustable temperature control and is suitable for planting environments with higher temperature requirements.
4. Shade net: Shade net is a method of lowering the temperature in the greenhouse by blocking sunlight and reducing light intensity. It is usually made of high-density polyethylene or other special materials with good shading and air permeability. Shade net can reduce the heat from direct sunlight entering the greenhouse, while still allowing the right amount of light to enter the greenhouse to promote plant photosynthesis.
